What is “Passive Income” and why is it important? According to Wikipedia.com, Passive income is income received on a regular basis, with little effort required to maintain it. Sources of passive income could include stock investments, rental property revenue and online sales. All of these sources combined is a plethora of potential fortune.
Passive income is important to solidify one’s goal of ultimate wealth. It is nearly impossible to become rich with a regular job alone. Therefore, that is why billionaires such as Warren Buffet and Bill Gates developed their Passive Income Strategies. Specifically, Warren Buffet’s net worth is $52 billion with 99% of it being from passive income. Buffet invested in stock, his passive income, at the age 11 and before high school ended he made over $90,000. Since 1945, Buffet has generated his income primarily from passive income.
Passive income allows one to be in control of their life financially. No longer does a person have to work a steady nine to five or answer to anyone but themselves. Being able to increase revenue at any given point in time is another positive point of passive income. Imagine sleeping in late and being able to wake up at any time without any regards to being late or reprimanded. Think about being able to drive around the city carefree and enjoying life while others are stuck at work miserable with deadlines and huge projects. Envision coming home after doing absolutely nothing to find money has been deposited into the bank. That’s what having passive income can do, Generate Money without having to be there.
It’s not necessarily hard to generate passive income, a person has to find what works for them. It’s imperative for one to find ideas that interest them as It is not recommended to invest money for the sake of it. There are many ideas that one can use to generate a revenue stream. It may take time to figure out a good strategy but once it has been established, the sky is the limit.
